Author of the recently published book titled,
One Stupid Mistake: Smart Decision-Making in a Crazy World.
Charlie Seraphin has been a journalist, a radio host, a sports executive, and a college professor.
He has received awards from Associated Press, Radio TV News Directors Association, National Association of Broadcasters and the National Headliners Club for news coverage.
He has covered thousands of stories and interviewed hundreds of notable people, including Ronald Reagan, Yogi Berra, Dr. Benjamin Spock, Barbara Bush, Bernie Taupin and David Koresh.
He’s jumped from an airplane, played volleyball at a nudist colony, negotiated with a cult leader during an armed standoff, lived with monks at a monastery and enjoyed lunch at the White House with a sitting president.
He’s worked as a senior marketing executive for teams in major league baseball, the NBA, the NFL and MLS.
Although he has lived all over the world—from San Francisco and London to Ibiza and Texas, he has never forgotten his roots in rural Wisconsin. He and his wife Dianne successfully raised six (now adult professional) children.
